Wow! I had my first castle experience last Sunday! Castle Burg Nanstein (I think that's how it's spelled) in Landstuhl. Landstuhl is two towns away from our town of Queidersbach, it's maybe 5-10 mins away depending on whether you get stuck behind a tractor or someone riding their bike! Oh well. Anyways, the castle was so cool! I couldn't get over the fact that I was walking around an ancient building where lords and ladies once walked. Well I don't know how true that really is but still my imagination was going crazy taking me back and forth between reality and what might have been the past! I'm sure that sounds pretty dumb but I don't really know how else to describe the feeling. It's not a very big castle but the view was amazing! You can see pretty much the whole town of Landstuhl from the top, yes you can go up to the top of the castle and inside! The inside was much smaller than I would have thought but still very cool, the echo was great! The entryways are a lot shorter than you think they would be and the stairwells are very snug and have low ceilings. I wish I could remember what the history is behind this castle 'cause then I'd tell you all about it. I'll see if I can find anything out about it and report back later! Man it was awesome! We took a few pictures too so I'll see what I can do so you all can see them!
In other news, I'll be leaving for the states on the 17th of April for Jared and Heather's wedding on the 22nd! WOO HOO!!! I"m super excited about getting to see my family again and more so about getting to see my bro and his sweetheart get hitched!! Then I'll be heading back here on the 28th of April, so it'll be short but sweet, I'll savor every moment!

Yes, the steins are fantastic and everyone will like them.. or I will destory them with my mind...
Obviously you know that mom ordered one from me so when I got back to Chatty from visiting last weekend I bought some Gernam beer to drink out of it! Unfortunately, the only thing the grocery store had that was import was Becks (meh, a bland pilsner/light ale). I'll have to hit the liquor store and get some good stuff, like Warsteiner or something.
